I like enforcing dark ages, especially classical and renaissance. but sometimes game leaves me with no choice :] The best thing to gain era score in rush is to rush current bonus (fe. sell everything for cash and buy libraries). Later i just keep some envoys unused (I tend to have at least 4 stored). .
