The Bergara outperforms the Savage and CZ consistently. However, the Bergara loves Normo Tac-22. Most of the time, I'm 0.35 and lower at 50 yards, I have had 0.22 groups more than once with this rifle. It shoots it so well; I need to run it against some Eley Tenex or Lapua center-X on the same day and compare it.Depending on your scope, you don't really need that much elevation. I shot a match today and scored hits from 300 to 400 yards with a 20 MOA Rail and an Arken EP 5-- to be fair, it has a 34mm tube and many mils in the reticle itself. Ditto! MDT 20 MOA rail under a Vortex Strike Eagle on my B14R. Lawyerman.Our first test piece was the Ruger Precision Rimfire 8401, $480. The next entry was the B14R from Bergara, $950. Third was the Tikka T1X, $519, and last was the Christensen Arms Ranger 22, $830. Still mired in the great ammo panic/hoard/drought, we used our standard source to locate match 22 LR ammo.Of the 3 the cz 457 has the better magazines. I would buy a Tikka t1x before a cz, but I bought the Bergara B14r before either of those. Really depends on what your wanting to do, but the tikka is extremely accurate. Cz 457s are also very accurate, the Bergara is also incredibly accurate.The shooter ERGOs are also easily brought uo to speed with small dollar investments in $20 Grip and $30 LOP pad/spacer from Tikka (via Baretta/USA). The cheeck riser ±$30-50 or DIY, is the only non-stadard item. That being said, the aftermarket is well supported with the KRG Bravo backbone offering a t1x option.I have 2 CZs 1 bergara carbon barrel and a 22in kukri 360 vudoo. I upgraded from a Ruger American Rimfire to the BMR (No local CZ 457's in stock). The trigger is definitely better and it looks nice. However, the bolt is much smoother in the RAR and it does a better job ejecting spent cases. 2.The CZ is by far the best of those listed but I am going to get at B-14r shortly instead because it is a 700 foot print, I want to use it as a trainer for my bolt gun, I plan on getting the B14R barreled action and drop it in an identical chassis as my bolt gun to get the same ergonomics, and similar pattern magazines, AICS.

CZ 457 has more aftermarket barrel support options. Tikka T1X currently has barrels coming from International Barrels (IBI) and are sold for $325 USD from Canada. My barrel came off w/o any issues.
