In fact, in my view Shutter packs the best J-Horror has to offer neatly in one movie. Shutter has a simple premise and - thank goodness - remains fairly simple throughout the runtime as well. In terms of story, a little more is revealed of what is actually going on, but without becoming far-fetched or extremely stupid.
